Babangida, Serial Rapist

A 45 year-old man, Abdulahi Ahmed Babangida, who allegedly lured an 8-year old Primary 2 pupil  with N20 and raped her, has confessed that he enjoys having sex with under-aged girls.

In his confessional statement to the police, Babangida said he has been raping under-aged girls  for the past 20 years and has been deriving satisfaction from it because he no longer enjoys  sex with his wife.

Speaking on how he managed to rape the 8 year-old pupil, he said “when my wife travelled, the  little girl was hawking tuwo and I called and told her that I wanted to buy the tuwo. When she  entered my room, I gave her N20 since I lived in a two-room apartment, one for me and the other  for my wife, so, I did it on my bed with her.

“When my wife did not return on time, the girl came back again because she enjoyed it. I used a  clever trick of the same N20 and did the thing again.”

However, the Kaduna Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Aminu Lawan, said “parents should be  watchful and know the movement of their children.”

In another incident, the Directorate of Public Prosecution, Lagos State has indicted a 49-year  old father, Pius Ezeamaka and ordered that he should be prosecuted for allegedly assaulting his  3-year old daughter sexually.

This followed the findings and the result of the medical test carried out by the doctors that  the little girl was actually abused.

The DPP, report directed the magistrate Mr. W.A.O Memigbo to transfer the case to the Juvenile  court at Ikeja for the father of the little girl to answer charges preferred against him by the  Nigeria Police.

Pius Ezeamaka was charged to Isolo magistrate’s court for allegedly defiling his little girl he  adopted by inserting his finger into the girl’s private part which caused her pain and itches.

The incident happened at their residence at 1, Meye Ezeamaka Crescent, Ago Palace Way, Okota,  Lagos when the mother of the girl traveled to their village for treatment.

P.M.NEWS gathered that while the mother was in the village treating her undisclosed ailment,  the father was reportedly assaulting the girl. The mother later died in their village in  DeltaState.

The matter was exposed when the sister decided to bring the girl to the village for her  mother’s burial. They discovered that whenever they wanted to bath the girl and on getting near  her private part, she will be crying persistently.

When they checked her private part, they discovered that she has been defiled. When they asked  the little girl what happened,  she said that it was her daddy that used to put his finger  inside her vaginal.

The matter was reported to the police and the father was arrested and charged to court for the  offence. The offence he was alleged to have committed is contrary to section 222 of the  criminal code cap 38 vol. 2 law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2004.

The charge reads: “That you, the defendant at the same place, time and date did unlawfully and  indecently deal with the victim, by inserting your finger into her private part that caused her  pain and itches.”

He had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charge and was on bail while the matter was referred  to DPP for advice.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the DPP has ordered the presiding magistrate to transfer the matter to  the juvenile court for the defendant to face trial.
